RESERVATION:
Although it is not necessary, we recommend reserving the backdrop in
advance to avoid conflicts during busy periods.
LENGTH
OF RENTALS:
Our rental rate is for 3 - 7 days. For long term rentals we can offer
a further discount from this rate.
DEPOSITS:
A deposit is required for all rentals. This amount is to
cover any minor damages or extensions of rentals beyond the
terms of the original contract. The deposit will be refunded
subsequent to return and inspection of the rental items. |
DAMAGES:
The customer is responsible for any damage or losses to the
equipment from the time it leaves our studio until it is received
by us from the customer or the carrier. If items are damaged,
the customer will be invoiced for repair costs or for replacement
cost.
ALTERATIONS:
No alterations of any kind such as pinning, tacking, stapling,
sewing or painting will be permitted. Repairs to our inventory
which were caused by such alterations will be invoiced to the
customer. |
LATE
RETURNS:
Since other customers may need the drop for their project, prompt return
of rental items is extremely important.
If
an extension of the rental period is required we must receive
notification ASAP, and
provided that the drop has not been previously booked, extending
the rental period is usually no problem. |
The
backdrops you are renting are quite expensive to produce and
to repair. If they are allowed to get wet, torn or dirty, significant
repair costs can accrue.
PERSONNEL:
Please make certain that the personnel responsible for hanging our backdrops
are experienced and comply with the following instructions.
UNPACKING:
When unpacking the backdrops, make certain the area is clean and dry
to reduce the chance of staining or otherwise damaging the drop. |
TYING:
Use care when tying the drop to battens and pipes, and allow time for
the drop to hang so wrinkles will be eliminated.
CLAMPS:
If clamps are used, be sure they are rubber tipped or that cloth is used
beneath the clamp to reduce the chance of damage to the drop.
UNUSED
SECTIONS:
If only a section of the drop will be used, be the unused section of
the drop is rolled up and protected from damage and dirt. |
REPACKING:
When your project is over, lower the drop onto a clean surface, removing
all remnants of props, tape, dirt, and other items. Loosely fold
the drop as it was received. Do not fold dirt or other debris into
the backdrop or damage could occur resulting in costly repairs.
Protect the drop with poly to protect it while it is being transported.
By
observing these procedures, the backdrops will remain in
good condition and costly repairs can be eliminated. |
